Managerial Ratings

GOD won the last Kickabout weekend, which made me think about the whole weekend process.

Now He wins because he thinks about the weekend, doesn't drink himself silly, or get sidetracked by other things. If more actually tried to win it then he might find it more difficult (OK Craig, I know that you try your damndest to shoot him down!). He might also have found it a deal harder, if Tory Boy had not have disappeared into his sick bed all day on the Saturday when far in the lead, but that's life.

So perhaps I should re-iterate what it takes to win the weekend (acumen, acumen, acumen ha ha!), by re-stating the ratings and how you win them! There are a number of categories in the ratings, and at the end of each session the program, ranks everybody in these categories. Whoever is the best/ highest/ lowest in the relevant category, gets one point, the next two points and all the way down to the bottom. These are then added up and the player with the lowest overall totals wins the ratings.

Simple.~

What are these categories, well, here goes, with the weightings of each category besides them:- WEIGHTING COMMENTS

x4 LEAGUE POSITION

x4 WAGES PAID (as a % of total levels)

x3 CASH AT BANK

x3 DPPS

x3 LEVELS PER PLAYERS (per qualified player)

x3 SQUAD AGE (On weekends most teams will be the same though)

x2 ATTENDANCE

x2 MPS LEFT ( Weighting +2 during season but -1 in Session 16)

x2 APPS DISCOVERED

x1 PPS LEFT ( Weighting + 1 during season, -1 on lasts session)

x1 CAPT LEVELS

x1 CURRENT SPS

x1 YOUTH INVESTMENT

It is up to the players to manage these, lots of success is to do with winning games etc., but also allocating their cash in an intelligent matter. Though this CAN be difficult when the pints are being stacked up in front of you.
